Celui qui donne, celui qui crée, celui qui enseigne - voilà les
précurseurs de celui qui domine.
Toute vertu, toute victoire sur soi-même n'ont de sens que comme
préparation de ce qui domine!
Tout sacrifice que fait le dominateur sera compté au centuple.
Quand le chef d'armée, le prince, celui qui est responsable devant
lui-même, fait un sacrifice, il faut le vénérer hautement.
La tâche prodigieuse du dominateur qui s'éduque lui-même; - l'espèce
d'homme et de peuple qu'il veut dominer doit trouver en lui son
_image_: c'est là qu'il doit être devenu le maître!
Le grand éducateur est comme la nature: il doit accumuler des
_obstacles_ pour que ces obstacles soient _surmontés_.
Les nouveaux maîtres sont le premier degré du suprême imagier (ils
impriment leur type).
Les institutions sont les _effets_ des grands individus et servent de
moyen pour _incruster_ et _enraciner_ les grands individus - jusqu'à ce
qu'ils portent enfin des fruits.
De fait, les hommes essayent toujours de _pouvoir se passer_ des grands
individus, par des corporations, etc... Mais ils dépendent d'une façon
absolue de ces modèles.
L'idéal eudémonique et social ramène les hommes en arrière - il crée
peut-être une espèce ouvrière très utile - il invente _l'esclave idéal
de l'avenir_, la caste inférieure _qui est indispensable_!
Droits égaux pour tous - c'est la plus merveilleuse injustice; car ce
sont les hommes supérieurs qui pâtissent de ce régime.
Il ne s'agit pas du tout d'un droit du plus fort, car les plus forts et
les plus faibles sont tous égaux en ceci: ils étendent leur puissance
autant qu'ils le peuvent.
_Nouvelle taxation_ de l'homme: en première ligne les questions:
combien de puissance y a-t-il en lui?
Combien de multiplicité d'instincts?
Combien de facultés communicantes et réceptives?
Le dominateur comme type supérieur.
Zarathoustra est heureux que la lutte des castes soit terminée, et que
le temps vienne maintenant enfin de la hiérarchie des individus. La
haine du système de nivellement démocratique est seulement _au premier
plan_: en somme, il faut se féliciter que l'on en soit enfin arrivé là.
Maintenant il peut résoudre sa tâche.
_Ses enseignements n'ont été adressés jusqu'à présent qu'à la caste
